A Happy (London) New Year!

LONDON, 1 January 2013.  It’s great to be back in the English capital. Last night we celebrated the new year with a few thousand others from a vantage point on Primrose Hill, one of our favorite places in the city.  Today we visited the new office towers–currently in various stages of completion–that are rising on the South Bank of the Thames and in The City.  Tomorrow it’s off to the Olympic Park to begin researching post-Olympics regeneration of the East End. More on both of those topics to come. In the meantime, here’s wishing the readers of this blog a healthy and happy New Year!
